• Make the drive. Choose “Make a Cursiv USB” and select what to include.
• Check the kit. Confirm the runtime and model are present before going offline.
• Use a compatible Windows PC. Drive letters can change; host hardware and drivers still matter.
• Bring records back. Import notebook history with integrity and signature checks.

Know what travels

Private records are optional when making a kit. Portable data is readable by design; protect a sensitive drive with full-drive encryption. The host can retain system traces.

Close Cursiv and eject safely. Sudden removal can lose writes or damage the filesystem. Mac portable kits are not supported.
